odd help request

so i've been playing a lot of guitar hero 3 recently and i'm thinking the standard guitar looks a little bland

on my real guitar i have a custom made diamond plate aluminium scratch plate, and i'd like to make something similar for my guitar hero guitar

it would be way too costly to have a proper metal one done, but i'm thinking it must be possibly to get a metal effect card with a a diamond plate pattern, but i cant think of what to search for online, i've tried a couple of craft supply websites but they don't seem to have what i'm looking for. basically it would be sticky backed card with a diamond plate pattern that i could just cut to shape and stick on the guitar hero scratchplate

any ideas?

aah that looks like what i'm looking for, need to see if ican fid it a little bigger though, needs to be about 14" by 10"
