Any body know a fix for this?

Post by TezzRexx »

Harro, I'm pretty sure this is a problem on the forums side but I thought i'd ask this anyway just in case.

basically, I browse this forum; http://ukff.com

and I've been receiving this message, after I log in and try and view the site.

Code: Select all

IPB WARNING [2] mysql_query(): Unable to save result set (Line: 555 of /ips_kernel/class_db_mysql_client.php)

    IPS Driver Error
There appears to be an error with the database.
You can try to refresh the page by clicking here
The problem still happens happen after control +f5ing, after deleting firefox's cache and happens in IE. The error message doesn't show up however if I don't log in.

Afaik It's server side. Either an update/move hasn't worked properly. Nowt you can do except pm the guys who admin. If it's just you then you've probably been dropped off their database in some form or other and need re-adding.

editz - I never knew wrestling was quite so orchestrated as [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_pr ... ling_slang[/url] I just thought they sat down and thought up a few shit storylines and then smashed each other about in a way that ooked good but didn't cause realistic amounts of damage. Sorry if you think it's real tezz. :P

Yeah thought so. They're bastards in terms of the time it takes to reply to PM's though. Ahh well.

For the piccy of the 5punkfart? I just opened it and cfb'd it with the magnifying glass icon, I can't remember if it's an add on for FF or a standard part of teh FF codez, either way it's easily viewable.

I assume he wanted to embed it into the post rather than link. The disco board Help section has the info you need:

Code: Select all

As for the UKFF error that definately looks like a server-side problem.

As for the 5punk error ... dunno.

Sometimes elements don't load properly and they time out, I get that on 5punk sometimes when the little application buttons don't load and all I'm left with is the alt text.

Clear your cache and refresh with Ctrl + F5 on a 5punk page.
That usually fixes it for me.

It hasn't been updated with any new information though, so it's not much help. Not sure why there's no link at all though.

I've added our current codes to the WIKI instead
