Whilst working my ass off yesterday, ok, whilst yawning scratching my balls, chatting and surfing INSTEAD of working my ass off yesterday - we remembered Celebdaq, it is a BBC run website where you can trade shares in ceebrities. Dividends are paid out on a Friday and are based on how many column inches the celebrity has received in that week. Prices go up and down according to demand.
I have set up a mini-league on there called Mrhambrrgah if anybody wants to join in the trading.
Used to play this years ago. It's not a bad way to kill my tea break.

Used to play this at work, infact actually had a comment read out on the TV programmes of it. Don't know if they've changed it, but in the end it seemed to reward people who watched it all the time and daytraded, rather than play it in the spirit of how it was intended.
It got quite competitive between a few of us, and we had Opera installed so it refreshed the web page every few seconds.

I've been longing to say that
When I catch up to you you can start complaining.

Maybe, but I'm just playing in our little league so I couldn't give a monkey's chuff about what the rest of the world does. Although it's interesting to see someone's been price fixing Paul O'grady. Also, we have BBC/Sky news on in here all day (it's a military thing I've never quite worked out), hence the dash for Gazza. Who isn't in it
Seems I need your User ID number to add people to the mini-league. User ID is listed next to your name when you look at your portfolio.
If you want to be added post your ID's here and I will add you.
Seems the Nicks Leesons out there are giving Shilpa Shetty the Paul O'grady treatment and boosing her shares ridiculously. Dissapointed to see the Hoff dropping
Also, we're ing at Paul O'Grady shares. They had to reset his shares because they were just skyrocketing for no reason, and had reached about £3,000 each. Despite this, they've done nothing but continue rising all week. I love how everyone seems to have completely ignored the fact it happened and are clearly still buying him, so nothing has been solved. I've made about £250 on him since this morning, and I also made a similar amount earlier in the week.
