Khumaak trading on behalf of the corp

Post by fabyak »

lo!
/me bums
ok, basically I was intending on using some corp funds to secure fairly large amounts of Khumaak (Which can make at least 800isk/unit and the profits keep going up)
I've managed to find buyers and sellers just 5 jumps apart but this doesnt really matter as I was planning on staggering it over 2 DT's (i.e. Buy a load straight after, get it shifted at leisure during the next day, sell after next DT, repeat) I'm going to set up instas so even if we dont go for it as a corp individuals wanting to go for it can haul in relative safety

Only downside is it would involve tying up about 350mil of corp funds per run, but the rewards would be BLAHDY HUGE! And the more we do it, the more we can sell, the more isk we make! (Friz worked out that even making the lowest profit I found, 10000 units (I think) would make about 30 million! :)

As this is a pretty big investment I thought I would run it past everyone

In case you need any persuading, maybe this will help persuade. If all went very well, we could buy a Freighter with the profits in a matter of weeks (less if we set up more than one person selling per run)

do we actually have 350mill of assests?

i'd be up to help, but i'm never around at DT, and i'm gonna be AFK for about 4 months very soon.

if it makes us money, then go for it

sounds good to me. Im generally available at either end of DT, and I have a largish hauler. As long as there is low chances of gate camps for me to run into, that is :D

Anything to make the corp money. The sooner the corp starts making a decent amount of money, the sooner we can start getting some monies back from it. And lord knows, I need teh monies.

Yeah, I vote yea. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Unfortunately I'm realising more and more that I can't guarantee to be online at any given time, or when I am that my time won't be uninterrupted by RL. So my usefulness to the corp in 0.0 - and therefore in this venture - is pretty limited. That said, I'll do what I can when I can and try not to make any rash promises.

the run is through safe space, only about 5 jumps from one another, I propose someone (probably me as I can normally get on as soon as downtime is through) buying a shitload of the stuff, wait a bit (so as not to get nailed by people hunting traders of this stuff) Then shift it later in the day (ill sort out instas for a couple of runs) to somewhere the price is likely to climb after DT, then once DT hits...

4. PROFIT! :excited: :w00t: :boogie: :aww:

/me gets out the Freighter fightin' gloves :)

Well I'll be able to make Badger runs some evenings, so if we've a stock of the stuff and a location then I'm happy to shuttle it around when I'm about. Just tell me it doesn't go through bloody Rens.

how big is this stuff, total? Just so we have an idea about how many runs it'll take to shift one full load.

While I approve of vast personal gain, I think that should maybe wait until we're up and running with everything and give all the profits for the moment to the Corp so that we can still trade in large amounts of the stuff even after buying the POS.

If anyone doesn't like the idea of hauling 350 ISK worth of stuff around on their own, I'll happily keep them company. I know a frigate isn't much comfort, but numbers are always good.

First run only made a few mil, so ive brought 50'000 more at a better price, theyre in Dudreda atm. Will get them shifted later on but would really like a scout again as this lot is worth nearly 500mil!

Got them for about 200 less per unit so hopefully 4. PROFIT should be in order :)

Judging by my Xfire profile I should now have a strong subliminal link with the Eve universe which I shall use to form a freak wormhole in the space-time-devs continuum that'll swallow all SERK...Wuh!?...*thump*...OW! :faint:

I read that as a freak womble. Now that would be cool! (maybe one of the Doomsday Devices?)
