Bumcrumbs!

Buh, so Q4 Came in the post today.
I seriously need a new computer, even running at 640x480 with scanlines everything's a bit jumpy with 4 or 5 strogg running around. Oh dear. anyway, that's not my main problem. I seem to be having trouble with moving onto the "Next Level"..

I've litereally just started out and we've blown up those silly strogg aircraft hangars. I move over into the lift, press the button.. And.. Well it appears to be loading the next level, but then it boots me back to the main menu, with no autosave in sight. It happened earlier in the trenches too, and I had to replay that bit before I could get into the hangars.

Diagnosis?

Hmmmm that sounds really weird!

Cashy does have a point, did you download/play the demo, and you're running the demo instead of the full version?

If not then I'd suggest a reinstall, but if this still doesn't resolve your issue, I will upload a save game file for you, to get past the level

I had the demo, but completely uninstalled it. This is the full game. I should know, the installation took long enough. It came in a Jiffy bag from play.com and everything! Nono.. It just cuts back to the main menu and cries a little bit.

It was the first time I ran it though.
Might restart the PC and try again later.

It looks like Ash (Bruce Campbell) from the Evil Dead films, but no sign of his chainsaw or boomstick.

that's what I was thinking. Anyway it's obviously Ash, it's the spitting image of him.

No it's the gun at the very beginning in the cabin where he fights the z0mGb13 and he just lost his hand.

I didn't make it from scratch, but I have edited it, and I plan to animate it hard when I get chance

The boomstick proper is a shotgun, that looks more like a rifle of some sort.
