Nvidia is announcing a new GeForce 8800 GTS today, this time with 512MB of on-board memory. Unlike other GeForce 8800 GTS cards, this one is based on Nvidia's 65nm G92 graphics chip. So without further ado, let's have a look at how this stacks up against the competition.

I like BFG's cards, my BFG 7900 GT is still performing well. How much do we reckon this one will be?

In which case my next question is is it worth me getting one? I suspect a successor to the 8800 will probably not be far off.
Actually, I know it's not worth me getting one because none of my games slow down yet, but that doesn't mean I don't want one.

High end next gen stuff is meant to be Q2/3 2008.
nvidia aren't hurrying stuff out atm because ATI are just barely catching up.
and no, you have no need to upgrade your graphics just yet, your £200 would be
way better spent on a 20" lcd screen.

That's a bloody good point. My 19" lcd will look pants once I get my new telly. Then I'd have three monitors too!

Try
this , £170 inc. VAT, I've had one for nearly a year with no problems at all.
EDIT: Or you could stretch to one of
these for £234.
