BEARDBASH!
Ok, this is just sounding out a possible idea at the moment, to see who would be interested:
i was discussing with DP how stuff like SLA isnt quite the same over the internet as it is face to face, and a thought occured to me:
Would anyone be interested in a beards based bash? People arrive at venue friday, beer is consumed, sleep is had, beards all day saturday, spend night on the piss, light bearding sunday and then home to bed.
In my mind, its going a bit like the brum bash, but slightly with slightly more hair around the chin region.
As we are likely to get a smaller crowd than a regular bash, it could concievably be held at my place, in Leicester.
Like I said, no firm plans/dates or anything yet, just wondered if anyone would be up for it?

Would it be acceptable to simply turn up, and the beards hide in one rom while the rest of us cover in another drinking?
I'd love to get in on the SLA Industries, but my social life is kinda precluding it since I have friends apear at semi-random and they take president over computers, Last night being a great example of this.

Contrary to popular belief, pen-and-paper RPG's are actually really easy to play (for the players, not the DM). If you want to shoot someone, you just have to say "I would like to shoot him please", and the DM deals with the how.TezzRexx wrote:Hmm.. this would motivate me into going into SLA. If I learn to play, I'll try and make it :D
So I'll vote yes!
