I have a legit copy on my desk unopened.
As long as I don't have to reinstall (I kept the original install .exe files), I can be running legit in about 30 seconds.
Edit for clarity: Voted legit.

Initially swept it, but acquired a legit copy as soon as was possible after that, and have fettled the key etc to make it all good.

Thoust only need a correct key rather than the proper exe's?
Odd copy protection.

Cod games have always been great.
SP needs the right exe/cd in drive.
MP meeds the right cdkey (and are usually very well protected)

I have legit key and the fixed exe. Anything that saves me having to swap disks every time I change game is great.

Steam wins on that... Yet another benefit, well worth the extra £2 over the play prices for it. Anything that helps valve make money it good. After Portal they can do no wrong (are you listening EA?)
Apparently they can according to the rumours of ps3 orange box set woes. Depending on your stance however, that's either a benefit, or sony's fault.

I think Valve deliberately modified the CoD4 source code. Hence the fact we need to play around with server restarts everyday.
So where do I vote for "Legit, cupcake Edition"?

I'm not so sure, as amblin's seems to be fine.
