TDM: Higher points limit?

This is a difficult one, because we can't set this per map and it could make stuff drag on on less busy games.
However, to combat this we could lower the map time (currently at 20 mins), but this might need some fine tuning

750, because the sooner it's over the better AMIRITE WHO'S WITH ME?!
No, seriously, it seems fine on 750. How often are there going to be such a large amount of players that 750 is too short?

Really don't know, but as we had 20 people on Saturday and 18 (I think) on Friday.
I figured it'd be worth asking (it's not much trouble to change anyway)

I thought 750 was fine. That one map that's fucking impossibly tiny is just too small for the number of people we had, so I didn't mind it ending fast. I say leave it alone.

I think thats part of the pioint :D and if we up it too 1000, we get 40seconds of mayhem :D

Unless we regularly get such large turnouts, I say leave it as is for now. If we have 16+ people every regular game, then maybe up it to 1000/1250, but otherwise it'll drag the quieter games too much.

I suggest to increase the limit to 1000-1500.

I'd say bang it up to 1000 until it quietens down, then bring it back down again. Also, the time limit will stop games dragging out too long if there's less people.

I AM WITH YOU FRIEND.
Yeah, I think that by the time a player has acquired 750 points, most people are probably sick of the map/getting pwned by Berk and want a map swap.

I'll be honest, we're getting more efficient at killing, 750 just seems to spring up on some levels, and take a while on others.

This. All of it. The timer will sort out the slow games, and I think most of them will be over quite quickly even with the 1k score.

I've set it to 1000 now.
Baliame, I'll need to do the server restart shuffle with you before the next game.

Okay. That might mean I have to postpone the Pre-CoD-CoD.

Hmm, this amount worked well earlier when it dropped to 4 vs 5. Took a little longer as you'd expect, but only by few minutes, and it didn't seem to drag at all.

Ready for a shuffle.

Truffle shuffle?
The increase in points was barely noticeable on the full server to be honest, and if it didn't kill off quieter games then so much the better. 20-man cod is still taking some getting used to though, especially after playing so much with 8ish people to start with. Was better last night though, especially on HQ, but I had to abandon it for the missus who needed looking after.
