Something New, something old...

Post by Joose »

I fancy a game of something different. Much as I love CoD and Beef2, I fancy a refreshing change. Preferably something that doesnt involve nazi's.
Maybe go "oldschool" with a game of UT, or a quick roubd of toilet throwing with HL2DM. Or some new game, if someone can suggest something (preferably something that can be played "off the floor" or can be picked up at barganalicios prices). Any suggestions?

I agree, I suggest some hot badger action in UT2004 :)

Good old fashioned small maps, with no vehicles, with all of us just shooting the fuck out of each other.
Failing that, what about Halo?

Source forts sounds kinda cool,

Free Source mod where 2 teams have a set time to build a fort out of preset blocks, then defend and attack ensues!

Sounds fun

Not "This" at UT... just.. meh.. I don't have it :(

Sourceforts: Yes, lovely game, have they sorted out that block-sticking problem yet? (Great fun on LAN for those lan-goers)

Quake III Arena: .. I think i have this somewhere.. Its okay, but not the best.

Is anyone getting Quake 4? I've been very impressed so far with the single player on the copy i found on the floor and i've went and ordered a real copy so i can play online. Maybe we could have a game of Quake 4 online?

I object to UT2004 on the basis that it's not worth installing 5.5GB for nostalgia.

pffffttttt

Hmm seeing as Quake 4 has fallen on the floor, I may get this, as I missed out on playing Quake Online back in the day, and it might be my cup of tea :)

There's so many games coming out at the moment, we may need to create/kill some more forums on 5punk

I object to Quake 4 on the basis that it would run like a gimp with a limp on my computer.

Is this enough of a reason to install UT2K4? http://unrealtournament2004.filefront.c ... ator;48668
