Bobbins card ERRORZ!1

Bobbins card ERRORZ!1
now being a very patient man, i decided to plug the 7800 in the AGP slot myself. but when i try to turn my pc on, i get a very very loud beepy noise. it won't recognize my screen either. any advice?

Sounds like you havn't attached the additional power cord that the card needs.
That's what that kind of beep has meant for me before
Edit: The black bit at the back needs a molex connector

EDIT: found the cable, but unplugged it from my HDD because it was too short, and now it completely died on me!

Whats dead? Everything? The card? Need moar info! I'm assuming here that the molex is on a passthrough to the card from other stuff, which could mean you've drawn too much down one rail and the psu has had a shit fit, but thats normally very obvious, or there is too much on the rail, and nothing is getting enough power. Or your psu just can't cope. If your hdd is dead, then that again could bee not enough power, or the card pulling amps made the hdd have a shit fit and its dead. Or the entire rig is now a big doorstop. All the above could be wrong, just depends on whats doing what, or not as the case may be.
