i think this has come out when ntl gave a statement saying all their connections would be boosted up to 10mb without any extra cost.

fucking sweet man.

will it help with ping though? NO! will it mean i can download porn/mpe's/divx faster? YES! Does it mean i can rip on mates using BT broadband?! you could before!

WAHOOOOOOOOOOOoooo

I'm currently on 1MB (128k upstream) for £25 a month.
This is going to change 4MB (384k upstream).

Question is do I save £8 a month and get 2MB with 256k up, or add an extra tenner a month to get 10MB with 384k up???

I think I'll stay with the 4MB for now, and see how it goes :boogie: :boogie: :boogie:

I'm up in newcastle and mine was done a coupl eof weeks ago I think. Hasn't made a huge difference yet, although theres a few downloads from some sites that have been fast as fuck. Haven't played any online games for ages so not sure on that front yet.
