Just noticed your 'don't shoot the vent cover comment' would have brought your nicely laid plans crashing down to the ground

cl_crosshairscale. He's probably got it around 7000 or so. I set mine to 2000. It actually does help you aim, but your recoil is still horrible. basically, it helps you control your recoil.

And now for Vowlesy's tips on "Knife'in those bastards"

1)If you know an enemy is about to come around the corner wait with your knife ready and when he comes aim for high chest(just below neck)as his offers the chance for a head-shot and DONT slash always stab slash=bad

2)If engaged in a one on one draw you enemy in while keeping just distance then at the right time strike in the high chest area again with STAB,

3)If some one is foolish enough to try and knife you when you have a gun spray spray spray! They gotta be close so dont have to worry about recoil!

4)Ninja Stealth attacks (IE hiding in the dark waiting for some one to run past then knife them)only work when the enemy dont see you....

It is possible to kill someone with the knife in one slice.

Right-click knife them, in the upper back. You can get lucky. :)

in one stab you mean i take it.

leftclick is slash, faster, longer range but weak.
rightclick is stab, slower, shorter ranger but at least 55 damage from a hit.

stab can do up to 195 damage if you stab an unhelmeted head.

my advice when it comes to knife fighting; be random. many of you are b3tans so that shouldnt be a problem. jump and strafe around your target, feint now and then, then dart in to hit them with a slash or a stab, your choice. a favourite of mine is strafing left and right while running at a person, then feinting 1 way before going the other way and stabbing them as you go round them. then on the second pass, simply approach at a wiggle, but just crouch as you get in range, then castrate em with a quick stab.
in the past i have won some 2on1 knife fights with this and similar tactics. just experiment and the most important thing is to know the range of ure knife.
