Fuck it, I'd rather get the duuvvd from play.
EDITZ:
Amazon doing the Tin box for 24.98.
Ordered that as it's 1 pence cheaper.

My copy's coming from Game. They've never failed to deliver on the morning of launch day. Limited edition box set will be mine for 22.49 due to wunnerful reward card bonuses too. I also get a Big Daddy figurine - lucky!
I imagine this time next week will be quiet here, reminiscent of STALKER launch day

Yeah I noticed this last night. I thought I might have got lucky and got it unlocked on Tuesday like the US have got, or is that only for the non-Steam versions of the game?Dr. kitteny berk wrote:Those of you who still have preorders on steam, you probably want to make sure you resume the preload (because steam was only allowed to give us 79% for a start)
2k are a bunch of twats.

Unfortunately, steam doesn't make mistakes like that
Steam knows your IP, your billing address and such. so can decide when you're allowed the game (also stops you buying games if you're not in the same country as your card)
I assume most likely there's no real risk of content being leaked through steam now.
Either way, 2k are *way* over-paranoid about the copy protection of the game (I assume because it's SP only) to the point they're really fucking legit users.
Pisses me off. hard.

seriously, there's no point at all for the Secu-ROM to be included with the Steam version. most fucked up AAA-title PC launch since probably Half-Life 2.Dr. kitteny berk wrote:Either way, 2k are *way* over-paranoid about the copy protection of the game (I assume because it's SP only) to the point they're really fucking legit users.
