The Best Dangerous Science Jobs
Wired has a list of some very cool but extremely dangerous jobs. A lot of you will also be happy to know that grad student did indeed make the list.
Even the most mundane job in science is hazardous if you don't know what you're doing. Grad students in labs around the world are in constant danger of, well, screwing up. In 2004, a Texas A&M student, for example, was cleaning up a laboratory when a jar of chemicals he was handling suddenly exploded, leaving him with severe lacerations and burns.

Yup, the ability to turn the innards to a bloody mush* that then seeps out your eyes and anus doesn't go well with-apart from the pancreas, which turns as solid as a rock
