Maybe although sometimes thrusters/etc are needed to make things work how they are supposed to in the real world.
I tried to make a wind-up system by having a rope/pulley/elastic wrapping around a rotating cylinder, but it just gets halfway and then goes through the cylinder.
Making things that just fit into other things has proved a bit of a problem too - they seem to either stick to the sides, or sproing away at high speed as setting them to nocollide makes them just fall out.
I wanted to try an Iraqi Super Gun, but that big chimney isn't actually hollow and I can't get more than two pipe pieces to fit together straight.
