Attempt #1 at Space Gnome Failed.

Managed to drag the cupcake to the rocket, but I had to cheat as it was impossible on normal, occasional use of godmode due to the cunting helicopter.

Will have to retry on Easy.

It's in the room with the vortigaunt in the labcoat, behind a big tank.
Here's a video of A Gnome's Journey and the Lost room at the end. It has a commentary node in it as well.

So what are the references to Half-life that appear in Lost? I only got a little way into to series 2 so may not have seen them I guess.

I have to say, I really enjoyed the Gnome Trek.
Well, apart from the helicopter bit.

So many opportunities for lollage.

I don't watch Lost, so I'm going to have to take these people's word for it.

Damn, I see some of you have already done the gnome thing. I started lugging it around when I found it without knowing about the achievment because it was good for killing zombies and I thought it would be funny. I lost it in the first elevator though. Anyway, this made me laugh:

Yay! I got the little fucker into the rocket. Now I have to just do the Strider defender bit again. I've decided I don't like that bit, especially when trying to stop any of the buildings getting destroyed.

That's the bit I've currently paused at. I will finish the game sometime soon, but Cod > Strider killing.

Yeah, I forced myself to get that far because I knewe that if I started playing COD I wouldn't ever finish launching the little fella. The Strider bit gave me the rage though and I gave up. I'll probably just sack off saving the buildings and finish it for the gnome badge.

Did we decide you have to carry the bugger the length of the game, or is there another one near the end? I never knew about the achievement at the beginning of the game, but still noticed it in that hut.

Pants, quick question, do you have to close the hatch on the rocket yourself or does it close automatically.

I didn't get the award when I did it (granted, I did it on med difficulty and had to use cheats)

There were rumours that there was another near the Vort in the labcoat, but I've never seen any evidence of it. I carried the little bastard all through the game. This meant carrying him on foot from carriage to carriage on the car/helicopter bit, then scurrying back, then doing it again in the car.

I've not launched him yet, but I don't think you have to close the hatch. You do have to wait for Lamarr to get in first though. An historic day both for gnomekind and headcrabs.
