hmmmm, I may need to drop out of this. I've been having problems with "lag" and it doesn't seem to be a connection problem because it happens when I start local servers. I just installed DoD:S and it happens there too and it can get so bad as to be unplayable, especially in small 2 on 2 games. If I figure this out before the games start I might jump back in if possible but it'd probably be a good idea to count me out.

Boooooooooo. Well we have Mr Sandwich as standby, but try to fix it. Have you tried the joyful experience of uninstalling it all and reinstalling it?

I've completely uninstalled Steam and reinstalled it to a different directory. I've defragged the living fuck out of everything.

LOLOLOL ok so apparently ZoneAlarm was causing my problems, which is fucking bizzare but it seems to be working fine now and I won't be dropping out after all.
