investment opportunities - hmm miro you were the investor in all things great in TDOE or was it TM. Can you look into that? (i.e. invest in ISS outpost for example)

how many freighter pilots and freighters do we have? also are they in corp or npc corp? if corp does invest in BPO then we be building, then we need to move and carrier can only go so far in empire

DP

FYI
isk side note for mission runners (Caladari/Amarr) - in empire I base myself out of Aphend. I have 5 lvl 4 qty 18 and above agents all working for major factions (that means faction ships). i am about 50-80k LP short with 3 agents for 3 amarr navy apocs. of course i am keeping one but the other 2 I am gonna sell. That should net about 1.8 - 2.2 Bil isk Local is minimal to nonexistent so lag is no issue. everything all works out with the navy BS then I'll invest with corp as well (maybe look for a T2 BPO to purchase or find through exploration)

PS

1 Bil is for Marilyns 1 year old birthday party so corp only has 2 Bil pay off Marilyn 1 Bil. man is it going to be one hell of a party. we will all :boogie:

PSS

our old neighbors and friends of mine GANK is tossing around the idea or renting a 10/10 complex. Lots of isk to do it but lots of rewards as well. I'll poke around about that some more and see if its something that we could do.

I have 2 Freigther pilots North as u know Amarr and Pete can fly a Caldari Freighter too. North is in my alt corp which dead still. So he out of the way for wars but i do not have freighter or money to invest in one again :(

I am working on missins in lvl for but been away for some time. For complexe it be fun. Tho i see mining for noxs is better as corp ops u can earn upto a bill a week or 4 days even.

As requested, I've been running numbers on stuff, and I think I've hit upon something.

Right now, T1 Ship production, on a small scale, isn't worth it. Too much hard work for not enough personal gain. On a corporate level however, it becomes a tad more interesting. Please note, all these numbers assume ME20 BPOs, and based on average mineral and ship prices in rens.

Apocalypse
Build Cost: 95.4 Mil
Sell Cost: 104 Mil
Daily Potential Profit: 51.6 Mil

Armageddon
Build Cost: 55 Mil
Sell Cost: 63 Mil
Potential Daily Profit: 47 Mil

Dominix
Build Cost: 53.3 Mil
Sell Cost: 57.5 Mil
Potential Daily Profit: 25.3 Mil

Megathron
Build Cost: 90.5 Mil
Sell Cost: 97 Mil
Potential Daily Profit: 38.5 Mil

Raven
Build Cost: 93.5 Mil
Sell Cost: 100 Mil
Potential Daily Profit: 39 Mil

Tempest
Build Cost: 90 Mil
Sell Cost: 102 Mil
Potential Daily Profit: 73 mil

Typhoon
Build Cost: 64 Mil
Sell Cost: 76 Mil
Potential Daily Profit: 73 Mil

Scorpion
Build Cost: 60 Mil
Sell Cost: 65 Mil
Potential Daily Profit: 29 Mil

I'm rounding those numbers up or down slightly to the nearest million, but if we could keep mineral buy orders going enough to keep those BPOs in production 99% of the time, they pay themselves back reasonably quickly. Downside is your looking at 320 mil+ a day to keep it going, so if sales slowed down we'd either have to freighter the BS to other markets, or accept a drop in profits. It's not brilliant, but given the amount of effort it doesn't need (calculate and place mineral buy orders, put ships and market and put ships into the oven) I don't think it's too shaby.

We have a Researched ME30 Raven BPO as well as a Rokh BPO in corp.

I have 500+ BPC's of other battleships with good to stellar ME. (ME 5-30+)

So, let's get this thing going. We have plenty of Freighter capable pilots to make the best use of the markets. *Everyone* uses BS's. Pvp'rs as well as Mission runners.

If needed Miro is also 15 days from being able to fly Gallente Freighters. It was where I was going after DN with him. If we end up needing more freighting for Empire running, I can switch out. Whatever is best for the corp.

Hulk, you rock. I like the idea.

Hehe, now it all becomes clear. Mummy was always the one who nagged us and told us off all the time, whereas Daddy just turned up occasionally, looked cool and then fucked off down the pub/garage/alotment.

/me spanks all the children.

That was fun

er, Hulk. We should chat before we launch into this. I've been running exactly the same programme for ISSHI these last 3 months and the profits are bloody tight (1 - 5 mill on average after taxes with a good sales alt). It just about works if you sell popular PvP and ratting ships near gank systems and don't have to buy the BPC's. People make the real is with long term, very large but very cheap mineral orders that get filled over a period of several months. If you buy mins at market rates you pretty much end up selling at cost.

Since we aren't in an alliance at the moment i'm going to keep plugging away at the DN support skills for Miro. If we end up going back to 0.0 i'll make the investment that that time. No need to commit the isk if it's gonna sit idle most of the time.

Hmm, with the move into a new 0.0 alliance, how soon could we have ALOT more people in capitals? (fitted and fight ready of course)

This is from memory:

Fab is lacking about a half douzen skillbooks to fit and fly a chimera correctly, and a ship
Miro's nearing a dread (I think)
Rabbit and Wiggy are still a good few months of being dread ready
