My second entry for this round:
Click for massive, but if you can't see properly, its one of those massive brick chimneys mounted over 2 containers and 4 massive columns. Ladder cross-bracing FTW. The big swingy bit is mounted on ropes and backed up by a thruster, where it falls back again on its own momentum and smashes things to little pieces. The little black thing by the near corner is a combine for scale purposes.

For the love of all this is holy, why are Xfire hosting screenshots as pngs? Do they have excess bandwidth to burn?
However: Woo to your massive machine. And Yay to Killa's treb that nearly almost worked properly!

I don't have much to compete with the awesome might of those machines, as I've been treading the path of rather weak slingshots. Instead have another catalogue of fails:

I present the Bucket* Kicker.
I'd noticed a lot of the weapons have long and impractical reset times so I figured I'd make something with an instant reset and suited to firing big things.
(higher mass objects go further and harder)

Save file (0 and 2 to fire/reset, dunno which does which)

That is ace Berk. I can see it is reset by thrusters, but what triggers it? Is it just elastic powered?

thrusters and elastic make it go (the elastic holds it in it's reset place too)

Would it make sense to save all these files, and have them lined up in a map, and we could all try to run past them all or something?
Or perhaps we can stand behind tonnes of boxes, hoping not to get killed to death by each machine?
Just wondering if this comp' could be inserted into the B'Day celebrations on Monday??

Unfortunately you can only save the map instance, rather than your creation

If we wanted to play with them all together on our birthday bash they'd have to be made from scratch. It could be done I guess, with two people at the top of the map making things, and everyone else talking to each other and singing songs about horses at the bottom. Two machines at a time shouldn't create very much lag, and we'd all be able to enjoy them.

Woo, they are good.
I'm curious as to where the compo will go next, because this is an ace idea for machines.

I'm hoping #3 is build a
Rube Goldberg device to do [whatever grimmie decides here].

Fucking rube goldberg!
He just copied
Heath robinson
Americans - always taking credit for something they didnt invent

Regardless of the inventor, this is a fucking ace idea and I vote for it!
I reckon on purely mechanical/physics based things, no thrusters allowed, apart from possibly a little shove to get things going.

i'd rather construct something proper. Those machines are largely based on the amount of time you can be bothered to spend making them.
