I dislike the fact that Play keeps my card details. It makes buying things too easy. However, I'll be joining you all on a Rhino some time in the near future.

It's 20th for US, 23rd for EU supposedly. Game just sent me an email today saying mine is being processed so some might get their physical copies earlier than the 23rd...

19th was the original date for the pre-order thing to start however they put it forward to the same date as the US. Should really change that

I wouldn't mind a PvP server, but maybe not right away. I could see me getting pissed off pretty quickly if I couldn't play my new game because I got ganked by the nerdcore every time I tried to do something.

I don't know. I just meant starting a character on a PvP server. Maybe though, you could with Guild Wars.

I'd prefer PvE, but does Colon have the opt-in PvP switch like WoW does? Coz that'd be nice.

My old Funcom account seems to be obsessed Anarchy Online.

Aids of Colon has its own built in PVP browser, where at any time you just bring up a little screen and then can join straight away without having to travel to your nearest bummaster. The PVE just means you aren't going to get ganked by tossers every 5 secs whilst questing like me and Pete found out in the open beta.

Also my first crash after 20 hours. That isn't bad considering this is a game fresh off the starting line.

The pvp weekend was fail. It isn't a nice easy 'I challenge you to let me smash your face you person who is half my levels!' and you can tell them to 'get to fuck cockslap', there's no choice about it so you spawn and some cupcake-rag smashes you in the back where you have no armour and you're half dead before all the sparkly spawn stars are gone.

The fact that when you fancy pvp you just click a few button and you're in ctf or tdm on a different map is rather win. If you get bored of questing you only have to wait a minute or so to get a game and they're quite quick and good fun.

PvE is a far better choice for a start server, maybe if we can migrate I will, but I'd rather explore and quest until quite high level without getting groups of rogues sneak attack me as I spawn.
