OOPS DID I SAY THAT LOUD?
Actually not such a bad idea. However, right now I think a few weeks just chillin',
do some stuff together as a corp for once. Mining, complex, missions, cosmos, exploration, hidden belts. Mining low ends is actually pretty lucrative at the moment with the upside down prices of trit and Zyd, and building big ships (rokhs, ravens, drakes, hyps - whatever we have a bpo for) is good profits while high ends are so cheap. As a corp we're a pretty powerful entity now if we get together, both industrially and in PvP. I really fancy just monging somewhere without having to constantly watch my back or field endless convo's from worried alliance bods. Long term, I know some people who might take us in - they're old friends from way back but are still 'on our side' in the bipolar world that Eve has become. Either way, we'll be choosing our friends very carefully, any groups will be invite only and we'll concentrate entirely on maintaining the '5punky way' - rule one is to have fun.
ISS has been great, we've grown and flourished and made a lot of friends along the way. But where it is now is not for us and that much is clear from the posts on this thread. Much as I love ISS, I think it's time to call it a day.

We already did mate
Far as post ISS goes, I think we should pull all the high ends off the market, have a few laid back mining ops and make sure everyone has a ship or two before even thinking about what next. I know some people (

Rabbit) are amazingly broke so we need to get them back on their feet.

I've managed to pull myself nearly out of it, but thanks

Still in the whole if I want a new ship I'd have to sell a ship phase though
Wait.... when we were talking earlier it was about leaving ISS?!?!
(If you didn't get it earlier, I'm agreeing with Friz because if I don't he'll stop the loving

)

I vote Friz. He's worked his ass of for 5punk since we moved to catch 16 months ago, and he'll best be able to sum up what ISS has done for 5punk, why we're leaving and wishing them good luck etc.
Plus he's counts speach writer, so he's got a way with words

Friz said we're giving some notice to ISS, and Count in particular, so nobody post anything

It seems eveyone is in agreement on this. I've PM'd Count, explained our reasons and thanked him for our time in ISS. I've also tried to talk to everyone who's not a regular reader of these forums so we're all in the picture. I've chatted especially to Morrill and Stins, both of whom have toons elsewhere in the alliance. Morrill would like to stay with the corp although is alt Jack Slade will be staying with OGPC. No probs there. I've yet to hear from Bfm (Stins). If there's anyone I've missed or you suspect is not aware then please poke them or let me know so I can talk.
If it's all the same to you guys, Fea especially here, I'd like to reserve the right to put the official post on the forum. I intend to stick it up on Saturday before DT and be gone that afternoon. It'll give us the weekend to clear out, set up wherever we decide to go and maybe throw in a few ops as well.
Unless anyone has any burning desire to go elsewhere, I say we head for Elgoi to begin with. We can get an office there, get all our crap together finally and take stock. Then again I'm open to ideas - if the mission runners/complex monkies know of somewhere better then by all means shout. I'll start a post on the Eve forum (we don't need to be all 0.0 secure anymore) about where a good place might be.

Elgoi works great for me. I've prefect refining standing with core complexions, who if memory serves right have a 50% refinery in there, and I've been wanting to get back into that area for a couple of days ,if only to set-up some more R&D agents with CC.
Also, Re: Fw4ppers. If we're going to be in empire for a bit, might it not be a better idea to get all the active members into 5punkorp and close Fw4ppers down for a bit. Much much easier to help them grow that way, I think.
