Boredom got the better of me and I just bought this. Is there a dedicated server running now?

We were casing havoc on Grimmies server last night

Don't let Grimmie;

A - Have bombs

B- Have access to underground lakes that can be used to flood lower levels.

Confiscate his PickAxe and lock him in my room with the old man, that will teach him.

Whaaaaaat.

I found out that digging through lava is so easy when you have water from half of all the underground caves backing you up.

And still don't give Grimmie bombs. Seriously. Do not.

And don't let Ballie dig mineshafts, or summon monsters on his own

What's wrong with my mineshafts? :P

The Developers have been busy!!

New Jungle Area.. ABOVE GROUND!! :)

On a slightly different note, who has met Tim yet, I got both Miner and Tim on the same dig.. nice hat but I has no magic abilities :(

Miners are pretty common, I found. Tim isn't, but you do get quite a few of them if you go underground during a blood moon.

As for jungle, the underground one on the server actually extends to the surface.

Also coming: New boss. Probably a jungle one. Do want.

the underground jungle seems to always reach the surface on huge maps

Additionally: Will the above ground jungle spawn the same mobs and items as the underground one? If not, our server will be rather outdated.

According to Blue 90% of the stuff doesn't need a regen of the world. Biome specific stuff obviously will as you have to create a world with that Biome, but the Mobs and extras apparently will just appear.

Pretty big patch this one by all accounts... at least 5 new Mobs and 1 new Boss, plus new Biome.

Can't wait! :w00t:

Is that shiny thing a new kind of ore (possibly magical)?

EDIT: After searching, it turns out it's only copper shown by an "ore vision" buff.

1.0.5 is out. Grimmie, servar?

I went exploring and found stuff that would warrant not only a new world but new characters as well. I promise I won't summon bosses randomly this time around. :P

And if you thought before that hell was trying its best to kill you, you haven't seen anything.

That sounds scary. I've partially flooded hell in my game and I still can't get anywhere near it. I have just dynamited my way into a few of those corruption spheres though, the spoils of which has bagged me a lot more nice kit. I still die a lot.

Well, with Hell being hell now, the devs made it obvious that it's supposed to be a post-dungeon experience.
