Not sure my PC would cope with running that in game, but I could fire it up on request or run it on a separate computer.
BEEFY5PUNK other stuff (map cycle, rules, etc. etc)

Does the windows come up over the top of the game or do I have to minimise? Yes, I am too lazy to read the bf2cc forums.Dr. kitteny berk wrote:yup, sorta, it's an app that allows stuff like that, and proper admin stuff
Also I like all maps (not too keen of the Dam but will play it) and the more variety the better.

OH, I have never seen it used on a tank, just crushing infantry. Well then I am fully for restricting it.Sheriff Fatman wrote:
It's clearly an exploit, and as such, is fucking faaabulous.
/edit I'll qualify that a bit. I know we ain't dealing with reality in Beef, but dropping a car on a tank and having it destroy said tank and all around it is pushing the limits of sensible gaming a bit too far IMO.
It is a lame tactic that just conjures up images of sad [commader] twats using cheap tactics to get cheap points.

It seems to work in the same way that ramming cars into other cars does; the impact does a bit of damage but having one vehicle parked on top of another does some sort of uber friction damage that mullers everything in a close radius.deject wrote:

If anyone wants to have a practise with bf2cc, download it from here: http://www.bf2cc.com/Downloads/BF2CC_Cl ... 2.2303.zip
Unzip it to a folder, then run the EXE from there.
Connect to either:
BF2 R-Con ONLY
beef.warwick.ac.uk (137.205.194.151) on port 80
or
BF2CCDaemon
beef.warwick.ac.uk (137.205.194.151) on port 3389
user admin pass badger
No-one should be able to join the server as it's firewall blocked, just look at the options.
You'll notice you can do more if you login to the daemon version. Dashboard only works from the server console itself, and lets you additionally change the server port and select Punkbuster etc.
It will only be up tonight and removed tomorrow morning.
