Must finish this off now I've done most of what I can in Portal. Got to the bit where they were sniping the zombies for you but kept getting trapped by them. It was quite boring and annoying, which is why I didn't go back to it immediately.

That bit was fairly easy, doubly so with the traps available to use.

Maybe it's just me, but I just find it incredibly satisfying to launch bricks, barrels and saw blades into swarms of zombies.

I think this is a natural trait, in fact I'd be more concerned by someone who doesn't want to hurl saw blades at zombies.

Incidentally I carried a beloved Saw Blade for miles yesterday cos I was having so much fun with it, it was tricky to get it through vents and I thought I lost it a couple of times in some radioactive soup but it came back like a good pet.

I also take great care to carry my saw blades everywhere I can. I even save cake for it.

Heh, it was late when I was playing, and I was too used to thinking with portholes - I was trying to shoot everything with my gun. I forgot it wasn't CS:S and I didn't have:

I still fucking HATE those goddamn poison zombies with all the poison headcrabs on their backs.

I unload everything I have on them. everything. the Combine AR2 alt-fire works best because you can bounce it around corners and it vaporizes the zombie and all the crabs if you hit it right. Otherwise, RPG and SMG grenades and hand grenades and shotgun everything I have is focused on those bastards.

I like the Commentary about them. "Some playtesters were too scared to enter the room once they heard the poison zombies. The developers laughed."

never had many problems with the poison zombies, just slap the poison crabs with your crowbar and a few nades for the zombie. Poison is piss unless you let yourself get hit before your suit deals out an antidote.

Yeah I know that they can't kill me on their own, but they still freak me out.
