The original Flatout was good fun IIRC. Also, the title track is the wonderful Beat The Boys by Lab.

Yeah, me too. It's nicely tactical - design your ships, set up your fleet, issue them orders, then press go and see if your ships win. So far I like it, but I keep getting thrashed.

i grabbed it a while back but only been able to find populated servers twice,hopefully this will help remedy this, someone 5chedule a game as 5punky robot ninja kamakazi sounds rather fun

Cities XL for super-cheap. Multiplayer is $10/month, but I gather the single player is well worth the ultra-cheap price.

Oddly enough Steam bills this as Single Player only. Anyway, Limited edition is a fiver. I'll forego a sip of wine for the sake of giving it a go.
