I reckon me and Fabyak should team up on account of us both being completely shite. I always aim for the wooden spoon.

Considering the lull in gaming that seems to be happening just now, certainly for me at least, this should be fun. However, some other fucker can be chief cat herder this time round. :) 17 Yays is pretty conclusive, so lets start finding out who actually wants in.

Suggestions for Mr Bobbins:
someone on the Halflife2.net forum wrote:ok guys i think this should work it worked for me and many others too especially the dell users

-fullscreen +mat_forcehardwaresync 0 +snd_async_prefetch_priority 1

if it works then try running it in fullscreen by typing

+mat_forcehardwaresync 0 +snd_async_prefetch_priority 1

by the way for those who dont know what to do with this you have to got to hl2-properties-launch options and type it there.

i hope this helps
the 2nd one came up a few times

C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\YOURACCOUNTNAME\half-life 2

EVERYTHINGGG!!! EXCEPT EXCEPT EXCEPT EXCEPT EXCEPT
EXCEPT EXCEPT EXCEPT EXCEPT EXCEPT EXCEPT EXCEPT
for
BIN folder and then go into BIN Folder and Paste and if it asks you to Replace Press YES!!!

AND IT WORKS!!!!!
works for me and others....i hope and i give you guys my best luck to get your game you payed for working!!!"

this seems to work for me...

hope it does for you...

This worked for me... but when I changed my resolution from 1024*786 to 1280*1024 it locked anyway. I have a high end GPU and I would really appreciate Valve in giving more support to the community!
I have also seen this one crop up a few times

Also do you have an ATI Tray Tools utility installed and running? Someone said they removed their prior to upgrading drivers and didn't reinstall and it now works fine.

Hmm, tried the first one (and every possible combination of launch options) but not the second one, will give it a go (If I can decode the awesome use of the english language) thanks!

Whoever takes up the mantle really. Once teams are organised it'll kind of run itself I reckon.

Just because I suggested it doesn't make it my baby!

*Thinks of way to escape*

Anyone fancy forming a 5punk clan? We could call it 5perm!

*Runs and hides*

Pssst, it's spelt "weren't" - the apostrophe goes where the missing letter/letters should be, or to denote possession. See here for more information.

Hehe, I need something to entertain myself while at work, and the single report I've been given to do sure as hell isn't going to do that!

Thanks for the fix Grimmie, didn't realise I'd linked to the wrong site.

Can someone pop over to the Lanarchy forums and check if Bob47 has any concerts/birthdays planned in the near future?
