found out i had already opened the door before you have to officially open it, wich caused the character's script (or whatever you want to call it) to collapse/crash/stop thinking/*insert proper technical term here*

The genius that set the autosave points set it so that it saves without enough time for me to get back out of the lift before the doors close. So I'll have to go back ages. Which I won't.

Not sure how you managed that, is the button to open the door reachable from the other side? I guess it could be given it's quite close.

apparently it is reachable, something the makers overlooked i guess. or just me with my itchy button-pushing finger.

DogPants, I think you have to escape from the lift before it crashes, if you climb through the hatch to get on top of the lift there is another one going up that you jump onto.. I think... or was that another game???

I spotted the hatch and bashed it good and it didn't open. Can't remember if I tried just opening it though. I'll give that a go, cheers.
