Hmm,
I was just thinking of how potent an influence we could make to some small alliance in a distant region on Eve if we showed up one day with our small forest of POS's and just set up shop all sudden and quick like. Could be kinda fun! So, here's another .02 isk.....
We give notice with ISS, telling them what's up straight up and giving them time enough to ready pos's to replace ours as they see fit. We send a contingent to 'scout out' an area, and get us some offices situated. Twould be handy, imho, to set up close to a starting station, as new recruits are pretty handy things, they're all warm, with creamy centers, look cute on the dash and all that. From there, we of course need to have access to the 0.0 funnishness that is eve, with DS's, ore, and other shootable goodnesses.
Get our heels dug in really nice, and start a little thing called a WAR! Ofc, Fw4ppers will remain nicely seperated from the hostilities and such, but we have plenty of Fw4pper alts to keep minerals moving, recruits flowing, and such. Oh, I should have mentioned we pick on a BIGGER corp, with possibly less experience/direction/ BS's, and we pound on them until we convince them to join us. As I'm sure our conduct will remain 5punky, and they'll have to realize we're a pretty good bunch, at least if they speaken ze Engrish.
Oh, and as such, I would suggest we make the Fw4ppers side our Empire Industry division, and 5punkorp be our 0.0 combatty and low sec mining side. Just makes sense to me to make the combatty ships the targets of wars, and the industrial ones as neutral and safe as possible. Their armor kinda sucks, and tis more fluid if we don't have to escort them everywhere.
If all goes well, mayhaps we could someday toss up an outpost, maybe get into capital production, who knows.
/me tosses in a quarter to cover going over my .02 isk.

Now yer talking!!centerededgedesign wrote:we could someday toss up an outpost
/me starts tossing
anyhoo I would hope that, whatever our decision, we at least stand by ISS until the IAC conflict is resolved. We may have our own reasons for changing the status quo, but teh Quo are unlikely to see it that way.
Funny, as in another thread, we're all saying it's just getting interesting in catch! Meh.
On this regard, I've put out a couple of feeders to friends of mine in sucessful, but c-list powers who live in decent space. While they couldn't give me answers directly I have had promises that they'll get powers that be to contact me so I can ask some speculative questions.friznit wrote:2. Find another alliance that will take a small corp with limited PvP experience and some industrial backbone but has access to complexes, decent ores and won't charge us a fortune for the privilege. Do we have any friends out there that could help us get in?
Hope that wasn't too forward of me, sorry if it was
There's a reason this thread isn't in the 0.0 forumHehulk wrote: Hope that wasn't too forward of me, sorry if it was
Good point from Bomber - I really don't think we should move until the IAC thing settles down. It'd give too much propoganga to the IAC forum whores if they spotted one of the more active and long running members of ISS leaving in the middle of it all. It'd also feel liking dobbing yer mates in it. Oh and no more goddamn POS chains. Ever.

While I do agree some what with the no more pos chains... It is a pain in the ass. Unless we have at least 4 people that mine every day for ice. There is no reason to do it again.friznit wrote:

Q's
i do very much like the idea of piracy and other shooty things, just going out shooting randoms and having fun and doing our own thing, and if we could find an alliance that lets us do that then i would be very happy, we would get the benefits of 0.0 and fun at the same time.
although saying that ive never been in a different corp , so i dont know what it is actually like. but doing this would mean industry whores can still do there thing and people who wanna go out and do a little pew pew can do so as they please and everyones happy

As long as there is a 5punkorp in Eve I shall return! Which is looking like next month. Got the mortgage all payed up and one step closer to getting my car back from teh ebil repro men who have it. So, um.. I vote stay in catch at least until I get back on so I can move my ships out with the rest of ya'll.

Hell I have been talking to an old friend in joining up with us which brings us another carrier, pvp and all around good guy.
Staying with 5punk where ever it goes. I would eventually like to leave ISS, it was always a stepping stone into 0.0 for me. I don't like their aggression policy. The rats are good for and hour or 2 once a week other than that - crap. Ore - crap.
Kenny is off the mining training now - no need to train biscot if we don't have it
- Hes not going anywhere but I want to know what is going to happen cause if 5punk is going pvp hes gone - hes a miner not a fighter
Dolly - I ♥ her standings and I got crazy cosmos/exploration plans with her so going yarr pirate is not my thing - Antipirate or Merc shes there
Red - 5punk goes pirate shes the first one on the front lines
Honestly tho I am in a personal direction eve problem at the moment so corp direction I can't say. I like hanging with you guys and found a home here like my old corp so all in all I am not going anywhere which ever direction we go. 1 of me will so we can always

top work Dolly!
I doubt that 5punkorp will go 100% in any one direction
I certainly think we must stay put though until the IAC conflict is over, im not one to walk out on people in their hour of need

so we will always have room for miners, missioners, builderers, shooters and all kinds of everybody!Woo Elephant Yeah wrote: Something about cat herding
