This is very true, but something to point out is that IE is an integral part of the OS, and it could be argued that having your broswer seperate from your OS would be more secure, regardless of the security holes.Dr. Kitteny Berk wrote:i stick to FF, because it has tabs and works good for me. *BUT* saying firefox is more secure would be daft, i'm sure it has masses of holes, it's just that they've not been found yet.
I stuck by IE for a long time cos Im a stubborn cnut, and when everyone was moaning at me to change to FF this just made me more determined to stick with it
I have changed now though, and to be honest I havent noticed any great improvement from FF, but due to reasons above, I do consider it more secure.
