Replace "casual gamer" with "gamer who doesn't realise that spending £40 for a £25 game and then another £5-10 every other month for little scraps of additional content that should/could be free is bullshit"Roman Totale wrote:I think what annoys me the most is the blatant disregard for the PC player. They might as well have packaged the thing as MW2: We Fucking Love Consoles.
As said by others, I'm not expressly saying that console shooters are a bad thing (although I personally dislike them and find them to be dumbed down, as far as you can dumb donw something that involves shooting people), but this game now seems exclusively designed for the causal console gamer.
In fact scratch the "casual gamer" comment, as that only fuels their belief that all PC gamers are hardcore cyber hackers on steroids. Cunts.

This is probably true, but only because the retardo-13-year-old felcher Gunslinger discovered (I say discovered because I reckon he hacked their system and found out that's what really happened) will appeal to retardo-13-year-olds and people of an equivalent mindset, of which there are many. Probably not for all these new 'features' though, but just because it's COD.Gunslinger42 wrote:

You get a fez? Sold!spoodie wrote:Sounds like fun. I heard you get railgun and fez items with pre-orders.
Seriously, I don't see why people are so against these changes. So maybe it turns out to be worse than cod4 and somehow ends the universe? Personally I'll take that chance, sure as hell beats playing yet another generic 'epic' cash cow.5punk wrote:

True, it's a bitch that the days of being killed by a falling piano are over, which is a shame, but other than the whole server/mod fiasco the entire internet generally seem to be bitching about everything that's different in the game. Give po' man a chance is all I'm saying, could still be a great game. Could also be utter shit, but then as is life.Mr. Johnson wrote:I think you missed a point somewhere cashy.
Um. That's exactly what CoD42 is.cashy wrote:sure as hell beats playing yet another generic 'epic' cash cow.
Well you're quite right in that nobody has played it yet and so it's reactionary to say 'I'm never going to play this game because it's shit'. However, personally I've not heard a single thing that appeals to me, and stuff like a console style (non) server system, 3rd party view, and juggernauts make me not very interested. The outrageous price tag remains the reason why I won't even try it.cashy wrote:Give po' man a chance is all I'm saying, could still be a great game. Could also be utter shit, but then as is life.
