Yeah.. Most IM programs were im programs that introduced voice.
Skype is a voice program that introduced IM, it's much much higher quality.

I haven't tried the voice stuff, but I've been nattering away in chat all day at work for the last few days with Grim, Joose and Hulk about random nonense, and for that alone it's been worthwhile
