Vampires also have problems with running water, making water pistols effective against them, bizarrely. Also, filling a shotgun round with cocktail sticks works. Weird.

Hmmm, okay, I've looked three times through the equipment list and everything tagged as energy rifle starts at 5D6 MD, for which I would guess I'd have to come up with a story that published would beat Harry Potter in sales and I'm talking about all 7 books together. Or do Laser/Plasma Rifles count as Energy Rifles?
I have also completed my backstory, I'll xfire it over once you're around, hope you'll like it.

Anything that uses an E-clip counts as an energy weapon I suppose. Laser, particle beam, plasma and ion beam weapons (p358).

Aaaaand I'm done. You can probably ask me as well if you can't figure out something, I think I learned something in 10 hours of character sheeting.

Read your background and checked out your character Bali, all good. By fuck you chose a hard character to start playing with though.
So far we have:
A Glitterboy
A Shifter
A Robot Pilot (Flying Power Armour)

I have a burster ready to go. I'm not sure you are going to like him though.

Why's that? If he's unfeasibly powerful don't worry.

Rifts Character Generator
Um, as Aki pointed out...it doesn't have all the Classes...

There's like over 9000 of them, it's really hard to collect 'em all you know.

This ^
If it has the basic 30 that's pretty good. Anything more is a bonus.

No no, not a power thing. Lets just say he might be kinda familiar. Especially to those following the SLA campain.

Dog Pants wrote:I'll need a little co-operation during character creation. Because of the nature of the campaign, characters will need to be at least inclined towards working for a cause rather than just money. This works better for some classes than others, but I'm sure people can be creative. If someone creates a character who will only work for money and will happily let innocent people be repressed, they're probably going to spend the whole campaign sat in a bar waiting for a job.
Just a reminder, before anyone gimps their character before we even start. I'm not trying to be fascist, it's just the whole premise of the campaign is working for the greater good.

I've downloaded this and checked it out, yes it has an armada of classes, but I've noticed a lot of inconsistencies between the generator and the rulebook (and I'm guessing we're creating characters according to it), not to mention it's missing the spells. I'd suggest not using it.

It's probably for the original rulebook. The ultimate edition encompasses all the changes from the billion or so sourcebooks, and also bumps the other characters up a little because Rifts was guilty of the Games Workshop thing of putting more powerful stuff in each suppliment so munchkins would buy it. I don't care though in this campaign, munch or don't, it's all the same to me.

dont worry, im leaning away from it now anyway. Bursters look to be one of those classes that start off OMGAWESOME but dont really progress that fast.
Im possibly going to look at the Magic classes or a Mind Melter. Im liking mind melter, largely due to the name

On further inspection, that appears to be the Ultimate Edition. I'll have a look.
