I planned elastic but I needed more power! So thrusters it was!

Click for obscenely large.
To get an idea of scale, the wheels are carousels, and there is a seat on the axis of the front Whirly Thing of Death.
There are two Whirly Things of Death on this beast, one mounted (fnar) under the front to harvest the combine, and one mounted (pfft) out front to intimidate and catch those jumping out of the way of the first. It massacres very effectively.
Whirly Thing of Death Mark II is going to be made from several of the massive towers. You know, the really really really really really big ones.

Yays to berk's harvester - I'll have to load up the sav and have a closer look, and fear's catapult is tops, keeping right on track with the compo theme.
I, er... made this:
http://fatherjack.net/videos/siege2.wmv
More arsing around in a driveable cannon than anything else, but it's a step up from the wobblycar (in that it's steerable) and I've learnt a few things such as fixed cameras and that LPs don't make very good wheels
I think I enjoy making the videos more than the constructs, narf.

You want a ridiculously sized vehicle ...
of doom? Sure!

Non of the maps I had for gmod were big enough for this thing, so I went and made my own, it turned out it still wasn't big enough to drive the thing around in, but I dare not make one larger since my computer very nearly shit itself with this one. Also, I was going to add wheels to the front and a chair, but I'm too tired and the speckly floor was annoying me (I don't know what caused that =/
Takes about 12 of the most powerful thrusters just to move the thing

I know, I found it rather hypnotic, and I'd love to know what it is so I can

There isn't that much to see really, just a giant grey floor and three huge chimneys welded together. I'll finish it off tonight, more wheels, more thrusters, weapons, etc.
