Okay guys, this is it! If any of you have been checking on the steam beta participations lately: the Source SDK Beta is in fact the open beta for the L4D SDK.

You can also use Google's SketchUp to create parts of the levels now as well.

Finally, there's an unValveishly clear tutorial here that walks you through making a map.
