I read this and thought of a hand-held camera being used to record, rather than fraps...
hmm ill probably take both, more FRAPs tho for beef cod and whatever else.

I was just thinking this too.

Onto the scales you lot - one at a time. We will find out who is guilty the old fashioned way!

Woo! That was great. I particularly liked the last scene with the backround changing around the rider.

That were cracking mate, The only thing I'd change (aside from the obvious) is make the credits stay on a little longer (also, possibly the music, that's just me though). Surely you want people to see who's responsible for the (very impressive) work.

I made a Half-Life 2 movie for a uni project* and used fwaps to capture it then Premiere to edit it. I was pleased when I managed to find a cracking little program that allows for ALL the sound (including the voiceovers - GMAN!) ingame to be extracted from the weird archives it's in. If anyone wants, give me a shout and i'll send it on if I can find it. Only problem was while capturing, the game went horribly jumpy, though I'm pretty sure it was just HL2 being its jittery (though a little more intense) self, any probs like that?

What was the final (compressed) size and what codecs did you use?

*Where my Avatar came from in case anyone gives a cunting murray... :)

Also, congrats chicken on being the first sticky in teh 'Other Games' forum

The xvid compressed one is a better 51.45Mb i am more than happy for people to ask for a copy and will happily squish it in winrar to send, aslo Berk  said i could load it onto the Bukkake for people to download from.

Here's a quick vid of a few spells, so you get the idea, I'm sure others can do much better and with more uber spells.

The youtube video is 54Mb however good news at hand.

Version 1.2 will be available in the near future (more than likely tommorow) with a few fixes.

1. The dark bit has gone, replaced with different fighting.
2. The credits now last longer.
3. The song is ever so slightly longer aswell.
4. The video will hopefully be about 90Mb when compressed preserving more quality.

Thar ya go good news for all.

As a wee note to WEY, ta for the custom rank and image :) , and incredibly i have the whole movie on my phone as a tiny wee 4Mb .3gp file if neone would like it. :)

Going on those grounds I would've said Berk, but it wasn't him. Also, Deject is likely to say why he didn't like it rather than just say no.

I have my suspicions tho...
