Finished Oblivion Movie

Post by Chickenz »

EDIT

Drum roll please, Version 1.2 of my video is now hosted and can be viewed here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QgG8r7MyJw0

A couple of changes have been made thanks to your feedback, in particular:

The dark bit has gone
The video has been hosted larger for better quality
And the music and credits now last longer.

Aslo over the weekend when im on guard and working i will host a 250Mb video that you can download and watch when you please.

So please rewatch it and enjoy. (feedback appreciated)

That fucking rocked.

all i'd say is maybe make it a light brighter to allow for compression (as you said yesterday)

Fecking A. Just needs to be lighter.

And on a slightly different subject, can you not be a mage or soemthing similar in-game? All the videos/screenshots I've seen involve hitting things with a sword, but I'd perfere to roast them with the fire of a thousand suns.

Most certainly, fire, ice, electricity and all manner of other interesting effects.

I will investimagte the world of FRAPS once my dissertation is done, and get you a video of a fireball catapulting burning animals into the sky.

Nice work, apart from the dark bit, which was almost completely black on my crappo work monitor and brightly-lit office.

Excellent work, although like others have said, a very dark in places. I've found from taking screenshots that while in-game it may look great the screenshot is way too dark.

This is because most people will crank the gamma up in game, and leave it pretty standard in windows.

not to mention the issues with video compression in this case.

thank you please for the comments. Im awfully sorry about the dark bits (they were very bright in the video editor) but hey it took ages to even host it. Speaking of which i have the un-compressed version if anyone would like to download a 1Gb .avi ? Thanks again for the comments lads, i look forward to hopefully coming to the Lan and getting plenty of footage for a 5punk rock video (with teabagging).

I read this and thought of a hand-held camera being used to record, rather than fraps...
