I'm hoping for a good day from Amy Shithouse and her rat-bag husband tomorrow. Otherwise I could in trouble, much like my city-trader mate who lost £350,000 of someone else's money today

Fucking hell!
Still, it was hopefully a drop in the ocean compared to how much was invested.
Dividends seem to pay off, as I've plummeted today when they've come in. I'll be keeping my shares in Winehouse too, as well as Britney. Both are pretty much guaranteed to do something stupid most weeks.

Yay, luck
Just logged in to check my shares and the Paul o'gredy ones I'd bought for 9K are now worth 14K

Well my dividends for my first week were a bit over 5000, but I wish I'd bought some shares in Prince Harry earlier!

Harry shares were worth over £10k when I looked last night. They've barely moved apparently because nobody can afford them.

Aye, a pretty bad day but not disastrous.
As for Harry, I noticed his prices jump quite a lot before the news broke over here. Presumably people who spotted it the foreign sites as soon as they broke the story.

Harry would be a pointless investment at this time. I can only afford 1 of him and the dividend from that is not going to outweigh the cost of it. The Queen may be a decent investment once I have enough money, she appears regularly in the top 5 dividend earners, but suffers similar problems to Harry, only when I have more cash will it become worthwhile.

I love to know what FJ has been buying into this week. I'm only two days into this but he seems to have had a good week.
Also, do people spread their bets, or just go big and sink everything into a couple of options? As I said, I'm "all-in" on Amy atm. Both her, and her husband are in court today (and in separate countries) so I'm "going long" and hoping the Friday/weekend papers give her some mileage.

Personally I go for a couple of dividend certs (Amy Winehouse and Britney Spears at the moment), then have a float for day-trading. It worked up until today, but I think pumping all your money into a good dividend payoff might be the best way of playing. At least it evens things up between those who sit watching it all day and those who only log in once a week.

Sod it, bought a share in Prince Harry anyway - I figure the weekend papers will have lots of analysis on the story.
I also have 172 in Amy Winehouse, so here's hoping for a scandalous weekend!

I had Cate Blanchett, Daniel Day Lewis, Jordan and Britney. All had good dividends this week. I usually put my money equally into four people.
It's a balance of picking good earners for the weekly divs, plus day trading to make sure you don't lose too much while you're waiting.
The upcoming week looks like a Royal Flush, but they are all very pricey, apart from Camilla who could be a bargain.

If I read the instructions right, it's time to buy the shares you'll sit on until Friday's dividends payout.
I've gone for Camilla, Van Outen and Winehouse this week, keeping a few £ back for daytrading, which I am spectacularly bad at.

I've gone long on Charlie and Camilla (hoping to get a good return after their Caribbean tour this week) and reserved half my stash for day-trading. Kylie served me quite well today; netting me a couple of hundred for my meagre investment.
