You could just get a 360 and use that. Now that it supports DivX properly, it is most whin as a media center, piss easy to set up and works pretty well. Plus you could then waste shitloads of money on xbox arcade games, like me.

I don't seem to be able to edit the poll options. Strange I forgot the none option, since it's the one I'd be choosing as well.

Me and Duke of Ted have both bought USB disks for this very purpose, it works well.
