Contrary to popular belief, pen-and-paper RPG's are actually really easy to play (for the players, not the DM). If you want to shoot someone, you just have to say "I would like to shoot him please", and the DM deals with the how.

So, Hurrah! Join us, Tezz!

As Mrs Joose is occasionally referred to on here as "Jooses Beard", it would be crazy to say no!

Everyones welcome, in true 5punky style.

From the looks of the vote, I think this is a viable idea. I think 10 is about the max we can handle, both in terms of games and space in my house. I shall try and sort dates next. When would be good for people, bearing in mind it definately wont be till early next year at least.

Isn't Paranoia available online now?

Between Jan and May for me. I'll be a daddy after that and probably won't be able to get away, although it might not be a bad idea to drop Mrs Pants off at her mum's for the weekend.

:above: It all started off as "damn I've spilled my mucky seed and accidentally procreated." But now you can see the pride and excitement building. :ahoy:

Probably for the best that way :)

I found the Wiki article on Paranoia and it had me giggling in the office. I'd forgotten how funny that game was.

I dunno if the paranoia rulebooks are available online, what your thinking of is probably Jparanoia, which is a java client which does all the dice rolling and combat and such, over the intarnetz.

if i had any experience GMing it, i'd run a game, but i'm pants at making my own stuffs up.

Yeah, I realised that after having a look. I think I've actually got the JParanoia client somewhere.

I suspect you may be able to find the rulebook somewhere, but it's unlikely to be legit. Kudos to Nightfall then for releasing PDF versions of all their books, which came to about £25 in total I think.
