I've already got spec-ops and assault upgraded but still undecided on what to use my last unlock on; medic or anti-tank? I use both classes equally. decisions decisions ...
I'd probably go with the anti-tank, because the MP5/Type 85/PP-19 are much more shitty compared to the M16/AK47/AK101.

I find myself playing Anti-tank much more often now that I have the DAO-12.

Yeah, I know. I'm not saying you can't kill loads with the default Engineer guns, but the jackhammer makes you much more potent in firefights.

I did get 4 kills in a row with the USMC shotty though...

Before getting the unlock, I actually preferred the USMC shotty to the semi-auto MEC one. I don't know why.

I play engineer almost exclusively, but assault sounds viable with the G3 (never used the grens anyway) or spec ops now that blowing shit up gets you teh points.

I'd like to try the sniper guns, but could never bring myself to be a cmaping fagort in a real game, prefering to sneak up on snipers and knife them in the arse. Isn't there a mod that lets you give them all a try (safely)?

The G3 is pretty fun, but the lack of a nade launcher makes it more obvious what you're doing.

Still trying to work out exactly how the BF2:SF unlocks work.

from what I read on the bf2s forum, you can unlock them when you have SF, but you can only use them in normal BF2

I think there's more to it, because i have sf, and only have the SF assault weapon unlocked so far, but have assault, medic and sniper in BF2

From what I gather, you have to have the original unlock in BF2 before you can go for the one in Special horses. So, if you wanted to use the MP7, you'd have to unlock that stupid shotgun thingy first, and so on.

Yup, that's about right. (just talked to a mate who knows his bf2)

seems the unlocks are easy to get though.

Is it normal to get 2 unlocks when you get promoted to staff sergeant? Coz I did.

I love my new SCAR and F2000 but it's a shame there's no SF upgrade to my favourite class, Anti-Tank.
