There's no way I'm running naked across a televised sporting event with 5punk all over my arse. People might get the wrong idea.

Perhaps the flash animation project can be ressurected? As no-one could find anything decent to rhyme with 5punk last time, how about a 'We Are Not a Clan' song?

In the 5punk Rock stylee of course. :w00t:

We could also change our B3ta user names e.g. "Jinnx - www.5punk.co.uk"

Just a suggestion.

I'm sure Jinnx will take that into account.

I'm sure Jinxx, however, will change his name to "Jinxx - Whiny little cupcake."

I'm sure TezzRexx will proof read before posting and take that into account.

It's not a personal issue, a lot of people feel that way :)

I was more going for the point that 5punk is generally a good humoured, light hearted, friendly kinda place (a little too friendly at times, maybe :)), and calling someone a "Whiny little cupcake" is none of those things.

My collection would look much less impressive because I've thrown away most of the boxes.

I did have one thought regarding possible newsletter-age.

Rob has said many a time that hes not into all this new fangled shooty shooty type games, and far prefers games of the online flash vareity. Has anyone thought to point out to him our huge collection of these games? The 5punk arcade may well be newsletter-worthy.

*potentially* this!

anyone who's ever been frontpaged or newslettered will know the bandwidth and server strain that follows.

basically, if we get newslettered for the arcade, i give the site 30 minutes of up-time. at best.

Does Rob not know about the arcade already? His colour game is in there.

Erm... um...... yes, of course, I write to every author of a game to get permission

Nice post Grimmie, I will have to think of a way of rewarding you that doesn't contain any trace of bummings.

As for getting the site in the newsletter we now have 125GB, which ought to be enough to be honest, seeing as it wont be pointing at a specific file or anything, just the url etc...

I have a cunning plan. If I ask Rob for permission to convert/use all of the b3ta games in the arcade, it may prompt him to mention us.

I've been thinking, and it has been mentioned before, if the LAN Pary goes down, isn't it really the equivalent of a b3ta bash? Shouldn't someone over at b3ta know about it, so they can really promote it as well? It may bring some unknown people to the LAN, but hell, it may also get some people going "Fuck me! b3ta had a gaming group!"
