You what? Morphine is probably the bestest thing ever. Allegedly. Also I once had a dream where someone told me that if you're on oral rather than IV, take some Tagamet (to make the morphine work way better) and some Dramamine-II or Benadryl (to stop the queasiness/vomiting). Allegedly.

It should cover the receptors in your brain with something or other to stop signals getting though, and thus you feel no pain. If your still in pain, I'd question as to if someone really injected you with morphene.

The First time my shoulder blade decided it wanted to leave my back and take my arm with it I was given Morphine on site. I imediately forgot about the pain and saw what I was convinced where spider monkeys just out of the corner of my eyes jumping about. Not sure if I could still feel the pain but I just wasn't bothered.
