Well it's one of the Pokemon games I think - I always chose names like Arsebasket too - but I'm not sure which one yet.

Gah, I'm sure I've played this on a mates Amiga, I remember a complete lack of violence bar the end bosses, and thats about it.

It's older than Pokémon, but younger than the Amiga. Admittedly, that leaves a ten-year window and a hatful of systems.

Not sure if it's mentioned in the games, possibly in the manual and the pilot episode of the cartoon, but Pokémon journeys usually start at age 12.
