League table updated for the last time. See the original post for details, but in summary:

1st place: Volga Wolfbaggers
2nd place: Da Big Fellas
3rd place: I've a Horse Outside

I'll set up the league for season 2. Speak here to register your team and I'll start a new post for the new league. New teams only (old teams are for the veterans league). I'll try to get the game to do the work this time.

I'll start us off by registering the first team; The newly dug up Khemri team, Anupshi Rises. Reanimated from the remains of the pharoah Anupshi's bodyguard and priests, they lurch northwards in search of beer and hot-dogs. Hoo-rah Anupshi Rises!

Formed from the ashes of the Elven leagues, the Silvery Sycophants are looking to prove that even without the backing of the Elven Kingdoms, Elf teams are still a horse to be reckoned with. They're also after sponsorship deals with hair product manufacturers and possibly a tailor or two.

(What's the league name Pants?)

There isn't a league yet, I want to create it as a proper league and need to know how many teams will be playing.

I can't decide what to pick - I'm rubbish at anyrhing except Dwarves, but I think you all know their tactics by now.

Have you tried some of the newer fighty teams? Khemri might not be a bad choice (I can choose another team if you're worried about having two of the same in the competition) as they're pretty straightforward hitters. Chaos can be good fighting teams, but they're not that easy to play.

I'm tempted to go for Goblins or Halflings, just for the fun factor. Maybe Norse or Chaos for fighting, or Amazon for a change of pace.

You're going to get battered if you play goblins or halflings. It'll be amusing, but you'd best be sure you don't mind getting a battering all season. Norse make half decent fighters, but they have low armour values so can be fragile if you get into a prolonged brawl.

I'm not expecting to do very well this time - having Block across the board was the main reason I saw some success last time. I think I'd probably want to take a few opponents out with me though, so Norse it is. The Beer Monsters.
