ACE 2 domination isla duala.
Good:
New island
New toys
more realism without a huge amount of extra difficulty for 90% of stuff
Revivability
Extra toys in base
Bad:
Dying of carrying, good in theory, but due to limited numbers, bad
no AI mode, needing specific people for jobs = pita
Long grass
Revivability without immediate option to respawn

Not yet, it's only scripted movement, not destroyable, and you can't get in the carriages.
Good start though.

Testing a newly fettled version today. In theory this should happen:
Dying of carrying, good in theory, but due to limited numbers, bad
= You can turn it off, but it also disables the rucksacks. Actually I rather like it - you just have to pack your bags/vehicle with stuff and drop it off before going into battle rather than wondering around with the world's supply of weapons on your back. Also from the Wiki:
Your movement speed, like running, sprinting, rolling, or walking slowly effect how soon you will become tired. Different classes have different stamina levels: Engineers, as well as Special horses units, have increased stamina, while medics, crew members, etc. have lower endurance than a normal grunt.
The total amount of gear you are carrying, including ruck contents, has a huge effect on how fast you become fatigued. The stamina system also includes a certain amount of inherent weight representing boots, helmet, body armor, etc. - roughly 20kg.
Additionally - other influences like weather, wounding, climbing slopes, or suppressive fire have some influence on the rate of fatigue.
no AI mode, needing specific people for jobs = pita
- Fixed (needs testing)
Long grass
- Get
The GTD Grass Addon for the Duala Island Here
Revivability without immediate option to respawn
- Fixed (needs testing)

ACE is really growing on me.
Only concerns I have now are getting the hellfires to work, and getting earpugs that don't fall out when you die.
Also, odd group issues ty/pnut were experiencing.
I Like Duala too, but it's a bit buggy and needs some work, perhaps also a call in RIB/hovercraft button, as the wet nature of the place would lend itself to some amphibious awesome.

Indeedy. I'd quite like to experiment with some of the other maps as well, particularly those ones that have an ACE Domi port already (Quesh-kibrul might be the only other one in fact).
Anyway, mostly working on making a standard weapon loadoutamatron today

oh, check the arty times on the duala domi, I think they're very long.

Yeah it was doubbled, probably because the arty has been beefed up and is a bit more effective now. I've dropped it down a bit.
Gear preset script works but needs testing on dedicated server (with ACE). It's a very basic script (press button, receive bacon) with just the loadout I use mostly - I seem to be the one crashing out most often anyway. I'll make other ones if people want.
