My character seems to have hit a glass ceiling, at 22 or 23, I forget. I seem to be head of everything except the fighters guild so far, and after killing everyone in Anvil on a whim, I was fairly disappointed in lack of reaction. Although I ended up with quite some bounty. Anyway, I'm going back in to see if there's anything left to do.

Are you playing a female character? Its just I was reading the other day about glass ceilings for women when it comes to promotion.
:)

I've stopped using my security skill altogether now since I made myself an "Open Anything" spell, and I've not leveled up for a while. Also, the levelling gets harder the higher you get, so theres a natural slow-down too.

I'm a lvl 13 Argonian Bowman/thief/melee/light armour/summoning randomer at the moment and I'm finding the majority of enemies ridiculousy hard. I can pretty much deal with deer, wolf pups and mudcrabs, anything else and I'm necking the restore health potions like tomorrow night's Tequila. I'm unsure if it's me being a bit wank or I'm just picking battles out of my league, anyone else having this problem?

Am still enjoying it very much though. Got my sights set on the Arcane University and a big pointy hat that says 'Wizzard' with some glitter on it. Also maybe some luggage that follows me around a bit.

Pffffffffffffffffft - this made me LOL.

I've already heard talk of a Ankh-Morpork mod and a Discworld full conversion for Oblivion. These things don't often materialise though. I'm at level 22 and am suddenly finding the fights to be a bit challenging. Bandits are beginning to run around in Daedric armour which is mildly unsettling.

I was finding it tricky till I created my UBARDEATH spell (well it's not that great, but I can improve it when my magic and destruction skills are higher)

10 Fire damage and 10 Shock damage on target for 6 seconds, couple of them and they're usually a goner :boogie:

Nice! I was given a Wizard's Anger (or some such) spell that has some similar effects. Also got the "Fingers of the Mountain" spell - does loads of damage, but requires over 700 magicka and is therefore useless.

I'm not very fast at all, and can't keep up with most of the NPCs as they run around. Thats mostly because I'm normally carrying over 300 weight of stuff tho. I don't need a lot of it, but I keep it on me 'just in case'. I have 2 powerful staffs, including the King of Worm's one, plus 2 or 3 big enchanted swords, and a full set of Ebony Armour. Deadric is my next stop.

I can't imagine a better platform and engine for a total conversion. There were a couple of discworld games a while back...

I never played them myself though. I did download the second one a while ago but never got round to making it work.

Argh, that spell angers me, as I've had about 104 magika since the very beginning, and it with potions I max out at about 300 or 400. I've been trying to level-up all my minor skills, as I'm bored of killing things with my bow. I find you can raise your mysticism level easily just by casting something like "see life" over and over again, or whatever it's called.
