Been a bit busy so not had much chance for tinkering, or implementing my thunder mountain railroad plans.
However, I did a bit of tinkering tonight and seems I can change the server profile very easily, which means I can change the build relatively easily too - backwards and forwards. Whilst doing that I switched to the bukkit admin mod for 1.8 and noticed that there is a lovely mod listed that enables ops to place spawners. I haven't tried it out yet, though it was tempting to run it and go place spawners in everyones houses - but more important than my sudden found moral fibre, it means we can do Monroeville Mall.

Admin installs mods, server stops working. Ah-oh
Bukkit is great though.

It sounds like Endermen are fixed in 1.9. No longer just annoying, back to being scary.

Sweet! It took me a little time to be able to look at them, and was a bit miffed when they didn't care :(

Server is back, not sure why it threw a tizz. Something in bukkit it didn't like.

I had to stop myself from laughing at work at the "Emergency Rewiring" part.

Guys, we've been griefed. Logged on this morning to find a couple of guys who logged straight off (another nice person logged in afterwards which was all good so we may have a new recruit!) but I got to my base to find my bed gone and the chests that had things in there had been removed so check your stuff

The little fuckers burned down my wheat field :x
Part of my house, too, but I was going to build a stone house anyway so I can deal with it.

Dog Pants statue looks a bit molested as well. :(
They didn't find my desert fort.

Possibly not a bad idea

Does anyone else find that if you die (typically by falling off something) you can always find the stuff that's easiest to make (wooden tools and the like) but things like iron ingots and torches always get lost :?

/may have just done this for the nth time

I put some beds, wool and bread in the Old Mine and mopped up most of the water around spawncastle.

I hate the internet. Still, I got screenshots of my monument and the Endermen were doing a number on it well enough without griefers. Hard to see how much damage they could have caused short of TNT or Creeper herding.

Should we take the server down until the whitelist can be sorted out?

I'll try to remember to send Anery a text later, he doesn't always check the forums so he might not realise it's happening.

Yeah, he didn't. He's been working days so hasn't been on. He's looking to sort a whitelist.
