Re: Minecraft
I've had an idea for a 5punky megaproject.
1. Construct the Monroeville Mall
2. Fill it with zombies
3. Start filming
4. Fight our way through it
5. Add "The Gonk" to the video
6. Put on YouTube
7. ...
8. Profit!

Re: Minecraft
I'm down for that idea.
...but as usual I'll leave the planning to other people.

Re: Minecraft
Not sure how we'd fill it with zombies though.

I'm not sure how that works though, or if it is even possible.

Re: Minecraft
I'm sure with a map editor you could place zomb spawners, build in normal mode, then a quick cheat in the map editor.
Re: Minecraft
I think you can, creatives can even place sponges.
Edit: Nope.

When you could place spawners they just spat out pigs.

It's this kind of shit that'll make Minecraft great, when it's finally stable.

Re: Minecraft
I could play with those for hours, but sadly I've never had any success getting mods to work, not even the mod loader. It's probably that when I get around to trying them, the game is several versions different.

Re: Minecraft
Heh, looking forard to the next one.
I did manage to get Millenaire going last night - which he mentions in this one. It's an NPC village mod which is quite fun - you can flog them bits of stone/whatever and they build/upgrade their village with it - they don't seem to protect you and all their buildings are rubbish at keeping monsters out though so it's best on peaceful to begin with so you can get some sleep as the villagers are only active during the day.

I sense the future of minecrack is going to be a highly complex and technical RPG...with exploding creepers.
