Another Crazy Dres Idea
LUNCHROOM ADVERTISING!!!!
What a better group of people to recruit than coworkers! If the artistically adept among us could make a regular letter sized poster with some Eve artwork and a tagline saying that we are recruiting, along with an email address for a contact once they get 'ingame', would anyone be able to post them in their work lunchroom, or randomly place them in a few inboxes of people you'd enjoy playing with? That, the prospect of chatting about ops at work, scheduling time around the common barriers of work to get online and pop some enemy ships, all sound good to me!
Dres idea disclaimer:
May contain more enthusiasm than fact, logic, or chances of ocurring in this dimension!
Who can do artwork? I'll buy the thumbtacks!

"Yiffing roleplay with the eRabbit - play eve-online"
"Get some on you - 5punkorp are recruiting"
I can see it working y'know.
In space, no one can hear you bum... but as soon as they see you they will join in

I want to get on and play some, but I have to go to the library tonight!!!!
It's so frustrating, because I had planned to play, but on the way out the door to work this morning, I found a note from my 8-yr old:
Dad Pleas Get Some Hestery BooKS. i LoVe YoU. (With a heart and arrow on it).
I can't deny my son knowledge! The work of fathers is never done! (But I really really really want to play some too!!!!)

Well, he already knows about Eve and has watched the trailer, but I am curious which history he's interested in. The reign of dinosaurs? Ancient Rome? Cave men? Cowboys? Prohibition and bootlegging? It will be an interesting time at the library for sure, trying to find engaging materials for an 8 yr. old interested in history.....

Ye all ferget we had NATIVES here before that Spanish chap ever showed up, then there were Vikings that came and left as well, (probably bred a few natives whilst here, just to mix up the gene pool a stir or two). There was quite a bit going on here before 1492 in fact, the indians, (as called today) often burned large tracts of land to control insects and prepare areas for crops, (lots easier than cutting down trees, but had the problem of reducing ground cover which could result in erosion). They also had quite the system of mixing crops to maximize yields and ensure a constant harvest during the growing season. Pity we wiped most of them out with germs.
